When I was young, I wanted to be: Just like Dad.
Favorite story you ever worked on: Too difficult to name a favorite, but definitely the most memorable story I covered was the Hurricane Katrina recovery. It's an experience I will forever remember.
Describe your perfect day: The only thing that may beat an ocean-side seat sipping on a beverage is snowboarding down a mountain in three feet of powder.
Proudest moments: Birth of children.
Favorite Vacation spot: A British Virgin Island beach or any ski resort that's getting snow.
Favorite subject in school: Math - it's all right there, all you have to do is regurgitate it.
Favorite sport to play: Snowboarding and sledding with the kids.
Alma Mater: The winding road to journalistic paradise went through: Cabrillo College, Minneapolis Community College, Brown College and finally the University of Minnesota.
Why do you like your job? I get to meet a lot of people, learn a lot about their lives which gives me a lot of opportunity to reflect upon my own life.
Dream story: Every once in a while I have this dream where I cannot remember my high school locker combination. It seems like it goes on for days, but I wake up and realize I've only been asleep for a few minutes.
Family: Yes, too many to name, but I love you all.
