Blake McCoy joined KARE 11 as weekend anchor and reporter in 2012.

A graduate of George Washington University, Blake double majored in political science and journalism and remains an avid follower of politics.

Prior to moving to the Twin Cities: Blake worked in Boise, ID and his hometown of Las Vegas, NV.

In his free time: Blake enjoys working out, eating well and traveling the world.

When I was young I wanted to be: News reporter or politician.

Favorite subject in school: Government/civics.

Favorite vacation spot: The Greek Isles. Absolutely beautiful and using your cell phone is so expensive it forces you to unplug.

Favorite food: Anything Asian. Thai, Chinese, Sushi...

Least favorite food: Bread. I think it's gross. Weird right?

Favorite movie: The Die Hard trilogy. As a kid I had all three movie posters on my wall.
