Sitting here at KARE. It's 8:30pm on a Christmas eve. I should be watching the Hawaii Bowl because I'm a sports guy, but instead, I'm watching, I's a Wonderful Life. Well known as the most popular Christmas film of all time. Excluding the Jimmy Stewart classic, what are my favorite Christmas Movies of All Time?
Here we go, with another list!
Oh, and by the way. I received some heat from Charles Gonzalez my co-worker over rating "Last Christmas" by Wham! as my favorite Christmas song.
So go into this one knowing up front, it's my personal opinion. So spare me the critique Gonzo!
10- A Charlie Brown Christmas- Linus is a Virtuoso
9-Scrooged- Not even close to being Bill Murray's best movie, but still solid.
8- Trading Places- Dan Akroyd running around a party as a drunk Santa shoving a smoked salmon in his Santa suit, and getting it all up in his fake beard is one of the funniest moments in comedy history.
7- Santa Clause 2- Better than the original. Any movie with Judge Reinhold is genuis.
6-Elf- Will Ferrell. Enough said.
5- Home Alone- Mac Culkin was worth the hype.
4- Die Hard- Yippie Kye- Yay!
3- Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer- Herbie the Elf wants to be a dentist? Amazing.
2- Santa Claus is Comin' to Town- Burgermeister Meisterburger, One Foot in Front of the other!
1- How the Grinch Stole Christmas- You're a mean one, Mister Grinch. Seussational.
