LOS ANGELES - A Minnesota native is now a member of Team Shelton on NBC's "The Voice."
Jordis Unga, 29, was the last person to perform during Monday's night's Blind Audition episode, seen on KARE 11 TV.
Country singer Blake Shelton was the first of the four judges to turn their chair and way "I want you." Judges Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green also turned their chairs and said they wanted Unga on their respective teams. Adam Levine did not turn around his chair, but he did compliment her on her voice.
Aguilera made a big pitch for why Unga should join her team. But, Unga went with Shelton because he turned his chair around first.
According to Wikipedia, Unga's family moved around when she was young but eventually settled down in St. Paul when she was 10 years old. Unga attended Forest Lake Area High School.
