USA TODAY - A day after his arrest in Miami, Justin Bieber hasn't said much about the incident. No tweets, no official statements.
But Bieber posted an Instagram photo worth at least a thousand words that comments on his recent run-in with the law.
He put an image of himself sitting on top of an SUV outside of the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center — wearing a hoodie and waving to fans, after his release Thursday — next to a photo of Michael Jackson, waving in a similar pose standing on top of a similar black SUV during Jackon's 2004 child molestation case.
The caption? "What more can they say" and a crown emoji.
Bieber was arrested early Thursday morning in Miami when police officers pulled him over for drag-racing. He was also charged with DUI, driving with an expired license and resisting arrest without violence. His bond was set at $2,500.
Reports of Bieber's behavior post-arrest have been varied and numerous. He missed a deposition Thursday morning in L.A. for an unrelated lawsuit, while he's stayed in Miami to hang out with his father (via Us Weekly). And his actual blood alcohol level is in question; sources tell CNN that it was below 0.08%, while TMZ reports it was at 0.14%, though it originally reported 0.04%, leading the gossip site to posit that something shady might have gone on with the police report. (The legal limit for people 21 and older is 0.08%. Bieber is 19, for which the limit is 0.02%.)
Three Miami police officers have also been suspended after allegations arose that they escorted Bieber's caravan from the airport without authorization this week, according to Opa-Locka's city manager, reports the AP.
