Children's Star Gala benefits cardio program

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. – The Star Gala is one of Children's Hospital's biggest events of the year. In years past, the fundraiser has benefitted its cancer program the Mother Baby Center. This year, the gala benefits the Cardiovascular program. KARE's Belinda Jensen will emcee this year's event along with 13-year-old heart patient JJ Herrington.

Herrington and Medical Director of Pediatric Cardiologist, Dr. Gremmels, joined us on KARE 11 Saturday to discuss The Star Gala.

The 24th Annual Children's Star Gala takes place on Saturday, April 25. This special evening will feature silent and live auctions, and stories from physicians and patients.

The event is sold out.
