FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. - The Minnesota State Fair is on pace to break its all-time attendance record.
Attendance through Saturday was 1,552,389. If the final two days of attendance this year are the same as last year, it would mean more than 1.9 million people walked through the fair gates, easily beating the total attendance record set back in 2014.
The all-time attendance record is in sight thanks to a one-day record set on Saturday. More than 260,000 people walked through the fair gates, one of three daily attendance records broken this year.
Final fair attendance numbers will be released Tuesday. Mother nature is sure to take most of the credit. The average temperature during the fair has been 77 degrees with only a couple of days of measurable rainfall.
