LAKEVILLE, Minn. -- Perk's MessFest is being called a "slopstacle course for a cause."
Presented by RE/MAX Results, MessFest is a one day fun family event where kids get messy to raise money and awareness for children battling cancer.
KARE's own Eric Perkins and Executive Director of Charity Events of Minnesota, Kari Mitchell, dropped by KARE Saturday to discuss the upcoming event.
Up to 500 young people will get messy with their friends and family as they raise funds for The Miracles of Mitch Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping kids with cancer and their families. The event will be held on Saturday, September 20 in Lakeville.
