Sell-out crowd at Target Field cheers on a legend

ST. PAUL, Minn. - A packed house enjoyed the music of Paul McCartney at Target Field on Saturday night.

It was the fourth time that McCartney has played in Minnesota. The first time was with the Beattles in 1965 at Met Stadium in Bloomington.

This was his third solo performance in the state. After Saturday's performance, McCartney has now played in each Minnesota Twins baseball stadium.

Yesterday, Gov. Mark Dayton announced that Saturday, Aug. 2 would be proclaimed as Sir Paul McCartney Day in Minnesota.
