Prince's Paisley Park compound officially opens its doors to tourists on Thursday, but photos of some of the exhibits have begun to trickle out.
Entertainment Tonight has published a gallery of 13 images of the singer's home and recording complex in Chanhassen, Minn. (Warning: It can take a few minutes to load.)
The offerings include shots of the Purple Rain room, featuring artifacts from the 1984 movie, including his motorcycle, piano, guitar, costumes and the original-song Oscar he won for the title track.
Other photos show his recording studio, including lyric sheets and notes, his own private diner and the New Power Generation Music Club.
The exhibits' grand opening hit a roadblock Monday when the Chanhassen city council tabled a rezoning request. A temporary permit will allow the museum to welcome tourists on Thursday, Saturday and Oct. 14. Ticket holders for Oct. 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 15 will be offered refunds. Those with tickets for Oct. 16 and beyond will be notified when new dates are made available.
