MN Author's thriller jumps from page to screen

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn.-- A Minnesota author's 2005 thriller is about to make the leap from page to screen.

Chuck Logan's"Homefront" is has been made into a new action movie starringJason Statham as ex-agent, Phil Broker. This morning, Chuck stopped by the show to tell us more.

In the film, Statham's "Broker" is a former drug enforcement agent andfamily man who moves off the grid with his daughter, to a seemingly quiet bayou backwater to escape his troubled past. However, Broker's world soon becomes anything but quiet once he discovers that an underbelly of drugs and violence riddles the small town. James Franco, Kate Bosworth, and Winona Ryder also star.

The movie's screenplay is written by Oscar-winner Sylvester Stallone.
