SAN RAFAEL, Calif. - Actor and comedian Robin Williams has died at the age of 63, according to the Marin County Sheriff's Office in San Rafael, Calif.

Officials said that Williams was found unconscious and not breathing inside of his home in Tiburon, Calif. at about 12 p.m. on Monday.
Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.
"An investigation into the cause, manner and circumstances of the death is currently underway by the Investigations and Coroner Divisions of the Sheriff's Office," according to a news release.
Preliminary information shows that he was last seen alive at his home at about 10 p.m. on Sunday.
At this time, the coroner's office suspects the death to be a suicide due to asphyxia. A full investigation is underway.
A forensic exam and a toxicology report will be conducted starting on Monday.
