MINNEAPOLIS – A strike by thousands of nurses with Allina has entered its third week.
The union and management have not spoken since the open-ended walkout began on Labor Day. The Minnesota Nurse's Association is fighting for three things: health care, staffing and safety. Both sides agree they were close to a contract agreement during the last negotiating session.
So what’s the hold up? On Monday, KARE 11 spoke with both sides to ask where things stand, how long the strike could go on. Watch the video to hear their responses.
