MINNEAPOLIS - It’s considered the holiest day of the year for the Jewish faith, and it begins at sunset on Tuesday.

The day-long holiday is marked by fasting and a number of services for local synagogues.

KARE 11’s Bryan Piatt spoke with Michael Latz, senior rabbi at Shir Tikvah in Minneapolis, about what Yom Kippur represents and how it’s timing out with the presidential election.
