Chef Terry John Zila makes super salads

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - When it comes to some things, simple is best.  At least that is howTwin Cities Chef and recipe innovator Terry John Zila sees salad dressing.  The entertaining chef joined us on KARE11 News @4 today to serve up his latest dressing. 

White Wine Vinaigrette


1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1/4 cup champagne vinegar or white wine vinegar

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon  lemon juice

Freshly ground salt and pepper

1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil or canola oil

Place all ingredients, except oil, in a blender and puree until smooth.

With the blender running, slowly add the oil until fully incorporated .

Chill until ready to use
