GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Lela restaurant and bar in Bloomington is teaming up with the Greg Jennings Foundation as the restaurant’s charity partner for September’s Cocktails for a Cause, a happy hour with a purpose. 

The partnership will kick-off on Wed., September 14 from 6-8 pm when Lela will be serving “Fire in the Orchard,” a cocktail to celebrate the Greg Jennings Foundation, for $12, with $6 of the price going directly to the Greg Jennings Foundation. 

The September cocktail created to celebrate the Greg Jennings Foundation will be served on Wed., September 14 during the kick-off, as well as on Wednesdays, September 14, 21 and 28. 

The “Fire in the Orchard” cocktail, developed by Lela General Manager Ashlee Blaseg, is made of Du Nord Apple, Smoked MN Honey Crisp Apple Juice, Baked Apple Bitters, Bulleit Bourbon, Cointreau, a slice of Jalapeno, a Sugar Cube, and garnished with a Bourbon-Soaked Cinnamon Stick. 

The Greg Jennings Foundation is a private family foundation organized to make impactful grants within our local communities that focus on youth education.
