GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Dixie’s on Grand in St. Paul is celebrating 30 years in business with the first ever World Fare block party on Saturday, September 23.
The public is invited to gather to eat, drink, and have fun while exploring the diverse and unique fare,
World Fare will offer food from three restaurants, a shrimp boil from Dixie’s, hand rolls from Saji-Ya and a corned beef sandwich from Emmett’s Public House as well as Oktoberfest bratwurst and beer.
Games and activities appropriate for all ages include karaoke, sumo wrestling, giant beer pong, a H-eating contest, face painting for kids, hammerschlagen and mechanical bull rides.
Dixies is located at 695 Grand. The World Fare block party runs from noon until 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 24.
