Okee Dokee Brothers talk about new album

Okee Dokee Brothers impress Alex Trebek

FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. - The Okee Dokee Brothers came to the Minnesota State Fair to perform at the Schilling Amphitheater at West End Market. Multiple performances were scheduled for Friday, Sept. 1 and Saturday, Sept. 2.

The band stopped by the KARE Barn to talk about their latest album, with guest host Alex Trebek, called "Saddle Up." It's about their horse-packing trip along the Continental Divide.

As childhood friends growing up in Denver, Colorado, Joe Mailander and Justin Lansing were always exploring the outdoors. Whether it was rafting down their neighborhood creek or discovering hiking trails through the Rocky Mountains, Joe and Justin were born adventurers. Now as the GRAMMY Award-winning Okee Dokee Brothers, they have put this passion for the outdoors at the heart of their Americana Folk music.
