TC PRIDE FESTIVAL
The Twin Cities Pride Festival is already officially underway and runs throughout the weekend. Loring Park is where it's at, including a Pride Beer Dabbler Friday evening! KARE 11’s Jana Shortal is the Grand Marshal of this year’s Pride Parade on Sunday. The parade starts at 11 a.m. and runs along Hennepin Avenue in downtown Minneapolis. You can learn more here.
FOOD TRUCKS GALORE!
Bring your appetite to Uptown on Sunday. The Uptown Food Truck Festival is happening at Lake and Hennepin.
Live music, beer, and over 60 food trucks take over from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. The event is free to attend. You can learn more here.
BACK TO THE 50’s
Travel back in time this weekend at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. The Back to the 50's Car Show starts Friday and runs through Sunday. Over 12,000 cars that are 1964 and older will be there to check out. Tickets are $12 for adults at the gate. You can learn more here.
WAYZATA ART EXPERIENCE
There’s plenty to take in along the shores of Lake Minnetonka this weekend at the Wayzata Art Experience. Free sailboat rides, floating yoga, food, art, an Antique & Classic Boat Show and more is planned. It all runs through Sunday in downtown Wayzata. You can learn more here.
WORKOUT WITH SPECIAL OLYMPICS
The Special Olympics Minnesota Summer Games are being held at Eastview High School in Apple Valley.
