MINNEAPOLIS--The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Minnesota is holding a 5k-walk to promote better public awareness about mental illnesses on Saturday, September 28. The walk will be at Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. The walk will start at 1:00 p.m.'
NAMI provides education, support and advocacy for children and adults living with a mental illness and their families. NAMI offers over 300 free classes and 65 support groups each year.
