Intermediate Dist 287 Superintendent Sandy Lewandowski
GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. -- Intermediate District 287 serves thirteeen west metro school districts with a wide variety of programs that touch as many as ten thousand students each year.
With offerings in gifted education, special education, career tech programs, online classes, world languages and more, Intermediate District 287 fills many niches districts can't fund on their own.
Heeding Governor Dayton's call for more businesess to partner with schools, Intermediate District 287 Superintendent Sandy Lewandowski told KARE 11 Sunrise her district is looking for businesses willing to adopt a program.
Lewandowski said there are numerous programs businesses can be involved with, big and small.
Lewandowski says with cuts in funding, and the need to stretch dollars, partnerships are more important than ever.
