GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn.-James Denton, actor and emcee of Angel Gala, and Margie Sborov, founder of Angel Foundation and former Eleven Who Care winner, joined KARE 11 News @ 4 to share more about the Angel Foundation's Angel Gala, Jan. 25 at Hilton Minneapolis.
The Angel Foundation provides emergency financial assistance, education and support to local adults with cancer and their families. They pay emergency grants for basic non-medical needs, such as rent, mortgage, food gas and utilities for local adults living with cancer. And, they offer free education and support programs for families with a parental cancer diagnosis.
James Denton is involved in this organization because of his family experience with cancer, he believes in the work of the organization.
What can guests look forward to on gala night?:
James Denton as emcee. Jearlyn Steele and Twin Cities Community Gospel Choir. Boogie Wonderland dance band at after party. The night highlights Angel Foundation participants and celebrates them, all while raising the resources to help them. The event begins at 6 p.m. and includes a program, silent and live auction, dinner and after-party dancing to Boogie Wonderland.
