Easy, educational homemade window decorations

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - The decorations may already be up for the holidays, but if you haven't started yet, or you want to add more, there's a fun and educational way to make some of your own (without leaving the comfort of the indoors!).

The Kitchen Pantry Scientist, Liz Heinecke, stopped by KARE 11 Sunrise on Tuesday morning to share how to make homemade sticky window jellies.

Heinceke says the creative science experiment lets kids learn about floatation physics, diffusing dyes, and evaporation.

The homemade sticky window kellies only require unflavored gelatin, food coloring, water, a ruler and glitter.
