Blended multigenerational families face unique challenges

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - When adults with children marry again after being divorced or widowed, there are joys and challenges for parents, kids and extended family members.

However with thoughtful, mature decision-making on the part of the adults involved, a blended multigenerational family can thrive and most importantly succeed.

Developmental psychologist Marti Erickson, PhD and host of “Mom Enough” shared her professional insights as well as personal examples in this week's Sandwich Generation.
