GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Arezzo Ristorante in Edina is celebrating its 15th year in business with the return of founding Executive Chef Gabriel Lo Pinto and a special menu.
Arezzo is featuring a special 5 course "Taste Of Sicily" wine dinner on Wednesday, October 12. Chef Lo Pinto dropped by the KARE 11 kitchen to serve up one of the offerings, pumpkin ravioli with butter sage sauce. (recipe is below.)
Arezzo offers both lunch and dinner with wood fired brick oven pizzas, made to order fresh pastas, and Italian wines.
Happy hour specials this fall include new small plates and beer and wine specials.

AREZZO RISTORANTE’S BUTTER SAGE SAUCE for PASTA

(served with our PUMPKIN RAVIOLI)
1/3 cup salted butter
6 whole sage leaves
pinch of salt and pepper.
1. Heat sauce pan to medium.
2. Add butter, sage, salt and pepper and melt butter.
3. Saute until sauce is a light caramel color.
4. Add blanched ravioli or any pasta of your choice.
5. Toss ravioli with the sauce then plate.
Suggested garnish: crumbled ladyfingers and parmesan cheese.
