Simek's Spaghettini recipe

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. – Minnesota-based Simek's has a special project happening this month called "Meatballs for a Cause." For every bag of meatballs sold in stores, a meal will be donated to Feed My Starving Children.

Simek's President Lindsey Bruber came by KARE Saturday to explain the project and share an easy meatball recipe for entertaining this season.

Simek's Spaghettini recipe

1 package Italian Style Meatballs

1 jar spaghetti sauce

6–8 martini glasses

6–8 toothpicks

1 cup Parmesan cheese

Thread two meatballs on each toothpick.

Sprinkle Parmesan cheese in small pan. Moisten edge of martini glass with water. Flip glass upside down and rim edge of martini glass in Parmesan cheese (should cling to outer edges of glass).
