MINNEAPOLIS - Winter break will begin this weekend and there are many great things to do in the metro that will keep you busy.
Como Zoo and Conservatory is a great place to go - not only in the summer - but also the winter. The "Holiday Show" will be in place through January 6th in the Sunken Garden and it is breath-taking with its hundreds of poinsettias along with some fabulous tropical plants.
The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is making spirits bright and has many great activities available over the winter break. The visitor center is decked out with a fabulous poinsettia tree and seed sculptors. They have holiday teas, live music, free snowshoes, great winter hiking and cross-country skiing.
