CHANHASSEN, Minn - Diane Ott Whealy from Seed Savers Exchange in Iowa spent a couple of days in Minnesota recently talking to the Minnesota Horticultural Society members at Bachman's in Minneapolis.
Seed Savers Exchange is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and sharing heirloom seeds. Since 1975, members have been passing on our garden heritage by collecting and distributing thousands of samples of rare garden seeds to other gardeners.
Diane recently wrote a book called Gathering: Memoir of a Seed Saver. The book is available at the Minnesota Horticulural Society bookstore.
