New boss at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum

Belinda and Bobby talk to the new director of the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum about the future.

CHANHASSEN, Minn. -- The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum's beautiful gardens and plant collections, nature-inspired exhibits, innovative learning and events make it a valued community resource and top attraction.

Peter C. Moe has been named Director of the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum this past month. Moe was formerly the Director of Operations and Research.

Peter is a fabulous man and Bobby and I have had the pleasure to spend plenty of time with him over the years while we were covering the gardening stories at the Arboretum.

Peter started literally weeding azalea beds in 1974 as a undergraduate student in horticulture and he has earned this title with his 42 years of service at this beautiful place.

We are so happy and proud of him and have great hopes as we move forward and continue to explore and discover the new concepts, concerns and beauty that the future is sure to hold.  Great Job Peter!
