Midwest Fetal Care Center gives family with rare disease hope

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - At their first ultrasound, Sonja and Kurtis Kuhn of Alexandria, Minn., learned they were having twins. Joy turned to concern when doctors told the Kuhns the boys had rare condition: Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS).

The family was referred to the Midwest Fetal Care Center, a collaboration of Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota and Abbott Northwestern.

Now at 2-years old, Will and Luke are thriving. They joined KARE 11 Saturday to share their story, along with their parents, Sonja and Kurtis Kuhn.
