LEGOS skyscraper exhibit coming to Science Museum of Minnesota

Welcome to the Towers of Tomorrow, the newest exhibit at the Science Museum of Minnesota. A place where skyscrapers are built with LEGOS!

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Welcome to the Towers of Tomorrow, the newest exhibit at the Science Museum of Minnesota. A place where skyscrapers are built with LEGOS!

When you walk through the exhibit there are some buildings that you may recognize and some you may not. For example, the Tokyo Skytree made with more than 19,000 LEGO bricks.

The Towers of Tomorrow gives you a chance to see buildings you may not have seen before and gives you a close-up view of how they were engineered.

"So all of the buildings are designed to a 1 to 200 scale ratio. That means when you walk around the exhibit you'll be able to look at what these buildings side by side."

The world's tallest tower in Dubai is here, the Willis Tower in Chicago, and of course, you'll see the Empire State Building in New York City, and remember, all of the buildings are made with LEGOS.

Underneath the towers, there are piles of LEGOS that you can make your own creations from. I'm working on a small tower right here, but some of your creations like this one will be featured in another part of the exhibit.

If you need something to do over Spring Break and want to engineer something yourself, the Towers of Tomorrow Exhibit will be open March 16 through Labor Day. The exhibit is included with museum admission.
