1 pulled from Mpls. house fire

MINNEAPOLIS - Minneapolis firefighters pulled one person from a house fire Tuesday afternoon.

It happened shortly after 1 p.m. in the 3600-block of Dupont Ave. North. Crews arrived to find a fire in a bedroom in the upper level of a one and a half story home. Investigators say one person was able to make it out on their own, but firefighters had to rescue someone on the top level.

Crews performed CPR on the person who was later taken to an area hospital and, at last check, was listed in critical condition.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
