CROW LAKE TOWNSHIP, Minn. - A 16-year-old girl was killed and two others suffered serious injuries after a vehicle ran a stop sign and slammed into the teen's car.
The Stearns County Sheriff's Office received a report about the crash around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, at the intersection of County Road 18 and County Road 19 in Crow Lake Township.
Upon arrival, deputies learned a 16-year-old girl driving a 2002 Dodge Neon, with another passenger, was driving south on County Road 18 when she was struck by a 42-year-old man driving a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix west on County Road 19.

The teen was pronounced dead at the scene. Her passenger was transported to a local hospital before being air lifted to Centra Care Hospital in St. Cloud.
The driver of the Grand Prix was also taken to the St. Cloud hospital.
