2014 New Year predictions

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - As the clock winds down on 2013, we thought it might be fun to get a glimpse of what might be ahead in the new year.

Celebrated Twin Cities author, psychic and teacher Echo Bodine joined us today to share some of her predictions.

On the Economy:

The economy is definitely going to continue to improve, but I also saw that there was going to be a price to pay for it. I get most of my information in the form of pictures and sometimes it's tough to interpret the pictures accurately. This picture was dollar signs going up and up meaning things will definitely be on the rise economically, but there was a tail at the end of the dollar signs, which means something that we will have to contend with. I hate to say that to folks because it could be a downer for them.

Wild weather ahead?

Weather patterns will continue to be crazy. Winter is going to continue to be in the deep freeze and spring comes early. I see winter ending at the end of March and then the sun comes out again, (representing Spring).

Seattle will win the Super Bowl.

The Vikings are going to improve greatly next fall. The new coach is bringing in a whole new energy and they will resonate with it. The second year will be even better.

Will Hillary Clinton run for President?

Hillary is going to run for President and it feels very strong in her favor. The country will be ready for it. (I get an image of the Democrats preparing for quite a battle. They've united like never before.)

Good news for people starting there own businesses.

We're going to see a lot of small businesses cropping up this year. People are feeling more confident about doing what they've always wanted to do. People are tired of spending money at places that are no longer personal. The stores that offer excellent customer service are going to do very well. The others are going to end. People have been through a lot the last few years and they are tired of what's happened to good customer service. People are going to be very picky about where they spend their money.

Simplicity will be the key word for 2014.
