MANKATO, Minn. - The search continues for a Minnesota mother and her two children after they disappeared from a foster home near Mankato Tuesday.

The Blue Earth County Sheriff's Office has issued a nationwide alert for 21-year-old Reina Marie Gandarilla and her children 2-year-old Isiaah and 4-month-old Iyanna.

Investigators say the family left a foster home where they had been placed sometime during the afternoon hours of Tuesday, November 27. Custody of the children had been transferred to Blue Earth County in October due to unspecified issues. They were placed in foster care at that time.

The court order was modified in November when Reina and the children were placed in the same foster home utilizing a program called "Whole Family Foster Care." The goal of the program is to eventually transition the family to living together again on their own.

A warrant issued for Reina Gandarilla's arrest charges her with depriving another of custodial or parental rights, a crime that carries a maximum sentence of two years in prison and/or a fine of $4,000.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Reina Gandarilla or her children is asked to call 911 within Blue Earth County, or 507-387-5601 outside of the county.
