ST. PAUL, Minn. - Gov. Mark Dayton has named two attorneys to fill vacant seats on Minnesota's tax court, which considers tax cases.
Dayton's office said Friday that he picked Bradford Delapena and Joanne Turner to fill seats previously been held by Judges Sheryl Ramstad and Kathleen Sanberg.
Delapena is a former assistant attorney general who specialized in tax cases. He also served as assistant state public defender for eight years.
Turner has reviewed tax court cases as the Minnesota Supreme Court's assistant commissioner. She is a former private practice attorney who also taught accounting and taxation.
