ST. PAUL, Minn. - A St. Paul man is accused of threatening to bash his mother's head with a baseball bat.
A St. Paul Pioneer Press report says 39-year-old Terry Barnett told officers he hated his mother and was going to hurt her.
Barnett's 64-year-old mother told police she'd just been released from the hospital last week and was walking with a cane. She said she came home and found Barnett passed out on the floor.
She told investigators she tried to send him to bed but he picked up a bat and threatened to beat her head. Prosecutors say he then left the apartment and urinated in the hallway.
The criminal complaint says he also threatened to kill the officers and their families.
Online court records didn't list a defense attorney Saturday.
