BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- With so much to see and do at Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall of America you could miss a thing or two. But you can't miss Zack and Alek Frovik.

Zack and Alek are twins. Their matching shirts proudly state, Wednesday, "12-12-12" is their 12th birthday.

Zack was born two minutes before Alek. They knew then this day would be a special one.

"My mom told me that when I was born my grandma called her up and told her it's kind of special to have twins on that day," Zack said.

"I think it's pretty special because not everyone has a birthday like this and I have a brother that I can celebrate with," Alek said.

Their dad Jed, said they started planning how they'd ring in their 12th birthday the day after their 11th birthday last year.

Kris Veltum and John Bennerotte also started planning a wedding. After three years of dating they decided to tie the knot at the Chapel of Love on December 12.

"It's like a dream come true," Bennerotte said.

The chapel was booked back to back with weddings. Pastor Paul Marzahn has performed nearly 2,000 weddings in two decades, many of them on popular numerology dates.

"I did about 102 weddings on 7-7-7," he said.

For the Frovik boys they may only turn 12 once but that number will always be special.

"Whenever I see 12, I always think of the day they were born," Nicole Frovik, the boys' mother, said.
