BEMIDJI, Minn. - Ice is causing problems around Minnesota.

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office reported more than 100 vehicles went into ditches Saturday morning. The sheriff's office temporarily closed U.S. Highway 2 and Highways 71 and 89 because of so many accidents. Only one minor injury was reported.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation reported difficult and hazardous driving conditions in much of the southwestern and the northeastern parts of the state Saturday night.

The Bemidji school district also postponed a basketball game and hockey games that were scheduled Saturday.

The National Weather Service reported the Bemidji area could receive 2 to 4 inches of snow on Saturday.
