MINNEAPOLIS - Another big storm will be moving out of the Rockies Tuesday night and early Wednesday, but it looks as though the Twin Cities area will largely be outside of its track.
Heavy snow will fall from Denver to Omaha to Des Moines into central and southern Wisconsin.
The snow showers will start to push into southeastern Minnesota during the afternoon hours Wednesday with the metro being clipped by a few snow showers perhaps but avoiding any real accumulation.
Parts of northeastern Iowa into central and southen Wisconsin could see a foot or more of fresh snow.
Blizzard conditions are potentially expected in eastern Colorado and western Kansas for Wednesday.
Places as close as Rochester could see a few inches of snow. The cutoff will be sharp with accumulations as we move north and west of the storm's track.
