GRAND RAPIDS, Minn. - Authorities have identified the two people critically injured in a Saturday night shooting in Grand Rapids.
Police say 32-year-old Paul Russell Johnson and 59-year-old Rosemary Oberg-Johnson, both of Grand Rapids, were shot at a home in the 500 block of 10th Avenue NW around 8:30 p.m. .
A 26-year-old man was arrested and taken to the Isanti County Jail for his involvement in the shootings. Charges against the man are expected on Monday.
Both Johnson and Oberg-Johnson were airlifted to a Duluth hospital where they remain in critical condition.
The scene of the shooting was processed by the Grand Rapids Police Department and the Minnesota BCA Crime Team. The events leading up to the and surrounding the incident are still under investigation.
