MINNEAPOLIS - The Minnesota Vikings will boast four players on this year's Pro Bowl team.

Leading the way, is MVP candidate Adrian Peterson, who is 207 yards shy of the breaking the all-time season yardage mark for running backs. That record is held by Eric Dickerson. Peterson is 102 yards away from becoming the sixth running back in NFL history to rush for 2,000 yards in a season.

Peterson was voted to the Pro Bowl for the 5th time in his career. He says he's honored to be named to the team, but was disappointed none of his offensive linemen made it.

One of the key reasons to Peterson's success has been the addition of fullback Jerome Felton. He makes his first-ever Pro Bowl.

Jared Allen has battled injuries much of the season, but the Pro Bowl veteran is back again and will serve as a backup defensive end. Allen has 10 sacks on the season.

And rookie kicker Blair Walsh, who set an NFL record last week with his ninth field goal of 50 or more yards, will cap off his impressive season with a trip to the Pro Bowl.
