GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Just a couple more days to stock up on your supplies for your New Years Eve celebrations.
To help out with your cocktail planning, we got some help from Surdyks Liquor and Cheese Shop on KARE 11 Sunrise.
We learned about the difference between champagne and sparkling wines:
Sweetest: Castillo di Poggio Moscato
Middle: La Marca Prosecco
Driest: Sharfenberger Brut and A Margaine Brut
They also demonstrated two delicious bubbly drinks to feature at your New Years Eve party:
1. Soaked pomegranate seeds in Solerno blood orange liqueur
-Add a scoop of liqueur/ pom seeds to Ssharfenberger Brut
A beautiful & easy cocktail everyone will love!
2. Mio Sparkling sake with rose hibiscus flowers! A great pair with all of your appetizers or just on its own! Creamy, sweet and delicious!
