ST. PAUL, Minn. - It's a Christmas gift only Minnesota Timberwolf Ricky Rubio's biggest fan can appreciate.
"This is all Ricky," says Grandma Georgia.
Her son, Dean Piercelson decided that his mother needed something to add to her collection of Rubio memorabilia.
"I like watching him," she said. "The way he moves, the way his mind goes with the ball."
In addition to the autographed jersey, basketball cards and even a bobble head doll, she now has a 6 foot tall woven blanket with the face of Rubio from top to bottom.
"Isn't it beautiful?" a smiling Grandma Georgia asked.
Dean tweeted a picture of the gift, which was quickly retweeted by Rubio himself. Rubio called the gift, "Awesome."
The masterpiece was created by Photoweavers.com. Georgia says they didn't miss a detail.
"He's got the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen," she said.
The blanket might seem gaudy to some, but not for this 71-year-old super fan, who says this is perfect for a cold Minnesota winter.
"Not everyone can snuggle up to him," she said with a laugh.
The photo has gone viral. Grandma Georgia says she can't believe all the attention.
And by the way, she's not just a Timberwolves fan. Grandma Georgia loves all of the sports teams in Minnesota.
