(USA Today) - Eric Dickerson doesn't want Adrian Peterson to break his 28-year-old record for most rushing yards in a single season.

In an interview with Scott Hanson of the NFL Network, the Hall of Fame running back spoke of his respect for Peterson, but firmly stated his desire to maintain his record until he dies.

"I'm pulling for Adrian to stay healthy, win MVP and play the way he's playing," Dickerson said. "I do not want him to break my record. I'm not going to tell that lie."
