ROSEMOUNT, Minn. - There is no shortage of Vikings fans in the land of more than 10,000 lakes, and they come in all shapes and sizes.
It's safe to say that a set of twins in Rosemount is on the smaller end of the scale.
Jackson Lee Schriever and Logan Jeffrey Schriever were born October 3. Jackson tipped the scales at 5 pounds and 5 ounces, his brother Logan at just short of 5 pounds.
Their mom says the guys watched their first Vikings game from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Fairview Ridges Medical Center when they were just 5 days old.
Fast forward three months and Jackson and Logan, now healthy baby boys, donned their Adrian Peterson jerseys and horned hats and looked on as the Vikings squeaked by the Packers to earn a playoff berth.
Nikki Schriever says the twins definitely enjoy staring at the TV during Vikings games. She admits it's likely the lights and colors that draw then in, but the boys DO stare, and have even gotten used to mommy, daddy, and grandpa screaming at the TV when the Vikes make a big play.
Their mom Nikki says her boys are good luck charms for the purple, and figured that getting their pictures on KARE 11/kare11.com might be a good omen for this weekend's rematch against the Pack.
Consider it done.
