First Twin Cities babies born in 2013

COON RAPIDS, Minn. -- Baby Noami Marie Rademacher was born at 12:11 a.m. Tuesday morning at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia. It's believed she's the first baby born in the metro in 2013.

She weighed in at 8 pounds, 5 ounces and measured 20 inches long. Her parents are Charles and Anna of Cologne, Minnesota . They have three other kids.

Meanwhile, Charles Nagus is believed to be the first baby boy of the new year born in the Twin Cities area.

He is eight pounds, three ounces, and he's 21 and a half inches long.

Born at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, Charles is the first boy for the parents of three little girls.

He surprised his parents by arriving eight days ahead of a scheduled c-section.

Baby Charles came into the world at 12:18 this morning.
