MINNEAPOLIS - Single-game tickets for the Minnesota Twins 2013 Spring Training season go on sale at 8 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12.
Those wishing to purchase tickets can buy them at www.twinsbaseball.com, by calling 1-800-33-TWINS (800-338-9467), by visiting the Target Field Box Office or the Hammond Stadium box office in Fort Myers.
Twins pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to Fort Myers, Florida, on Tuesday, Feb. 12, with their first workout set for Wednesday, Feb. 13. The rest of the squad is scheduled to report on Friday, Feb. 15, with full-squad workouts beginning on Saturday, Feb. 16.
The Twins' 2013 Spring Training home opener will take place at Hammond Stadium on Sunday, Feb. 24 against the Tampa Bay Rays. Additional highlights of the Twins' 19-game home Grapefruit League schedule include three games against the AL Wild Card Baltimore Orioles, a visit by the Puerto Rican World Baseball Classic squad. a contest against the AL East Division Champion New York Yankees on Friday, March 22 and a game versus the NL Central Division Champion St. Louis Cardinals on Monday, March 25.
The Twins' 2013 Spring Training home schedule also includes four games against the Boston Red Sox.
