SEATTLE -- Seattle based Nordstrom has announced that it will open its second Twin Cities location at Ridgedale Center in Minnetonka in fall 2015.
The new store will move into the space vacated by the Macy's men's and home department which is merging with the women's department located in a separate location at the mall. The new store will be approximately 130,000 square foot.
"It's super exciting to have this opportunity at Ridgedale," Colin Johnson from Nordstrom Corporate Affairs told KARE 11. "This community has been so supportive of us ever since we first opened here in 1992, and we'd like to do a better job of taking care of our loyal customers in the Twin Cities by adding a second store."
The Ridgedale store will be the second full-line store in Minnesota and will join Nordstrom Mall of America.
