MINNEAPOLIS - Talk about your sinking feeling.
The owner of a two-level house boat moored off Nicollet Island on the Mississippi River is on the hook for salvage and tow costs after the craft began taking on water Tuesday morning.
At this point part of the boat is underwater but it has not sunk. Part of the hull is encased in ice.
A spokesperson for the Hennepin County Sheriff's Department says the boat's owner has been notified, and will be the one who has to pay to remove it from the river.
